Thank you Amy, what resonated with me was when you said we have been taught, and taught, and taught to not use our voice and be polite. It’s so true, those decades and decades and decades of “training” are hard to “unlearn” I was thinking that if a child was there, newly finding their voice, not concerned about societal norms, they would absolutely have shouted out, they would have rushed to save the caterpillar. They don’t think about “value” they only think about life and love. Maybe what we all need right now is to learn from them. Dig out those deep rooted instincts of love and community that we’ve buried beneath value and worth.
